Food Safety
Food safety and Quality are one of the major concerns of all the food manufacturing facilities, irrespective of their size and capabilities. Over the past decade there has been a rise in the number of cases of food borne illnesses reported worldwide. Government Guidance and Regulatory agencies have put forth several programs in place that would help reduce these incidences. These regulations and programs, however simple, can be very difficult to implement in everyday practices of a food industry.
How can we help?
Prove IT is a collaborative effort of several renowned food scientists and engineers who have over 75 years of combined experience in the areas of safety/quality and regulation. The goal of this organization is to provide the industry and the alliances with guidance in the aforementioned areas, which is not only affordable but also customizable to unique needs and specialties (including GMPs, HACCP implementation, packaging and labeling regulations).
The motto of Prove IT is to make food safety and quality resources available to one and all. In continuing these efforts the research group at Prove It, works toward inventing simple and cutting edge research applications, either individually or in collaboration with the industry. For example, the company is currently working on a research grant funded by NASA to develop packaging-related technology for the space shuttle as well as lunar and Martian colonization. Some of the other ventures include the design and development of affordable antimicrobial food contact surfaces for the industry, using energy curable materials.
